Adidas Chief Executive Bjorn Gulden recently said he didn’t believe that Kanye West “meant what he said,” regarding the megastar’s antisemitic remarks that ended the partnership between the sneaker maker and the rapper last year.
Gulden, when asked about the partnership’s demise in a podcast interview that appeared on YouTube last week, said the matter happened before his time at the company. Gulden, who became Adidas’ chief executive in January, then said that West was “one of the most creative people in the world.”
